Overview

The Squads feature in KeepGem enables users to collaborate by creating or joining groups for collective mining efforts. Squad members can communicate, strategize, and work together to enhance mining performance, compete for higher rewards, and strengthen their engagement within the ecosystem.

Creating a Squad

Users can create their own squads, giving them a unique name and logo, and inviting others to join. Squad creators have the ability to:

• Decide on participation in competitions and future tournaments.

• Manage the distribution of rewards within the squad.

• Integrate their public chat or channel with the squad to grow its audience.

Referral Link Every squad is assigned a unique referral link that is accessible to all members. This link can be shared by participants to invite new members and expand the squad.

Squad Levels

Squads are divided into seven levels based on their number of members. These levels foster a sense of rivalry and encourage squads to stand out by competing in groups with fewer or more participants:

• Mining Recruits: 0–100 members

• Geologist Camp: 101–300 members

• Small Mine: 301–600 members

• Deep Mine: 601–1000 members

• Industrial Mine: 1001–3000 members

• Quarry: 3001–6000 members

• Mega Quarry: 6001+ members

The squad leveling system emphasizes fair competition and motivates squads to grow strategically, creating opportunities for teamwork and recognition within the community.

Customizing Squad Appearance

Squad leaders can personalize their teams by uploading a custom logo. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Visit the "Edit Squad" page.

2. Enter the URL of an image in the logo field. The image must meet the following requirements:

   • Format: JPEG or PNG.

   • Dimensions: 200x200 pixels.

   • The URL must be a direct link ending with .jpeg or .png (e.g., https://example.com/logo.png).

For convenience, you can use free online services like gyazo.com to upload your logo and generate a direct link.

Competitions and Rankings

Leaderboard and Recognition The Leaderboard ranks squads based on their mining performance. The most active and successful squads are highlighted, fostering healthy competition. This feature allows users to identify and join high-performing squads, while encouraging squads to strive for higher positions.

Rankings System At each squad level, the top three squads are prominently displayed based on the total number of GEM tokens mined:

• Gold: Awarded to the top squad.

• Silver: Awarded to the second-highest squad.

• Bronze: Awarded to the third-highest squad.

This ranking system creates fair recognition for top-performing squads, motivates consistent activity, and offers squads the opportunity to stand out in their respective categories.

Tournament Participation Squads can participate in tournaments by submitting an application through their leader. These events provide opportunities to compete for top positions and recognition within the KeepGem ecosystem.
